Jayavardhan Bn

Jay is the CEO/Co-Founder of Day1 Technologies, a product- rst company in the AI- rst world. A passionate technology and innovation enthusiast, Jay is also the Co-Founder of SOS Method, an app-based meditation and wellness brand. Previously, he Co-Founded Hashtaag, a mobile app development company, focusing on design based project engineering. He also made his mark as a key team member, when during his tenure in the Bay Area, he helped his employer acquire US$10 million funding from Sequoia & IDG Ventures!

Jay brings a new approach to technology leadership with his drive for building products and aiding start-ups and entrepreneurs in their product-roadmap. His innate interest in product engineering, designing, UI/UX, AI and machine learning is what he brings to Day1 Technologies as he charters it globally. As the wing-leader of the technology division at Day1 Technologies, Jay is responsible for identifying and implementing the right technology stacks, guiding design and development teams, leading innovations in UI/UX and making strategic decisions for the business.

Technology was always Jay’s strong point and inspiration. As a young boy, com- puters and video games (especially Road Rash) was what fascinated him. An education and degree in Information Sciences was a natural choice, but it was during his stint at IISc, Bangalore under the mentorship of Mr. Ram Gopal, that his passion for machine learning and cognitive sciences reached its summit. Following, Jay started his career in technology, working with Huawei (a Fortune 500 company), but was determined to be his own boss one day. Today, as a technology-driven-entrepreneur he is busy helping start-ups and enterprises up-scale and expand, leveraging innovations in technology.
